ANSWER: YES THE MAP IS CONTINUOUSLY BEING UPDATED BY VOLUNTEERS,
INCLUDING YOU IF YOU WISH.
QUESTION: How can we be sure
that the maps are still
correct?
ANSWER: THE MAP IS NOT YET 100% CORRECT AS THERE ARE STILL
SMALL ROADS THAT IS NOT YET MAPPED. BUT I WOULD SAY IMPRESSIVE
ENOUGH FOR ROAD NAVIGATION.
THE MAP IS BEIGN UPDATED BY VOLUNTEERS USING SATELLITE
IMAGERY AS THE BASIS, (GOOGLE EARTH, ETC)
QUESTION: Do you sell maps?
ANSWER: NO, WE DO NOT SELL MAPS, WE SELL ONLY GARMIN UNITS WITH UPDATED MAPS.
QUESTION: Is it possible for me to add
points of
interests in my gps?
ANSWER: YES AS THAT IS THE INTENTION WHY THE UPDATING
IS OPEN TO QUALIFIED VOLUNTEERS. FOR YOUR OWN GPS UNIT,
YOU MAY ALSO ADD GPS LOCATION POINTS IN YOUR ADDRESS
BOOK THAT CAN BE SAVED IN YOUR UNIT ONLY.
QUESTION: Does the unit have a warranty?
ANSWER: ALL UNITS SOLD BY US IS COVERED WITH 1 YEAR
MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY.
QUESTION: Where are the service centers for this unit?
ANSWER: SINCE WE ARE STILL IN OUR FIRST PHASE OF
INTRODUCTION, OUR EXISTING OFFICES WILL ACT AS
SERVICE CENTERS. THERE WILL BE NO REPAIR SERVICE
NEEDED AS EACH UNIT
THAT NEEDS SERVICE WILL BE
REPLACED WITH READY UNITS ALLOCATED AS FREE REPLACEMENTS.
